Ingredients

  • 1 –15 oz can of chickpeas
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • Â 1 tbsp sesame seeds or sesame seed paste (tahini)
  • 3-6 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder or paprika
  • sea salt to taste
  • 2 sprigs parsley chopped

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients (except parsley) in food processor until smooth
  2. Transfer to serving bowl and sprinkle with parsley and paprika
  3. Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil
