Ingredients

  • 4 tomatoes (any variety)
  • 1 onion (your choice)
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1/4 jalapeno pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin seeds (optional if available)
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Mince garlic, jalapeno pepper
  2. Chop cilantro finely
  3. Add lemon, oil, and cumin to bowl
  4. Dice tomato, onion, bell pepper and add to bowl
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste
  6. Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl and mash with a potato masher
  7. OR ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TO FOOD PROCESSOR

Prep time: 20 min (will be much quicker if you are using a food processor)
